The Haan hub is developed in association with Barron engineering, a Dutch company. The hub is fully CNC machined from high quality billet aluminium (6082) and it lives up to all the expectations which factory riders like Joel Smets ask from the hub under all conditions.
The hubs are machined with the finest precision on the newest equipment CNC machines.
Hubs are delivered complete with A-quality bearings, seals and spacers. The spacers have a special coating to achieve a longer lifetime.
The hubs can be delivered in the colours silver, gold, titanium, red, orange, blue and black. Other colours can be delivered on request.
The spokes used in the complete wheels are high strength steel, which can resist big torques. Spokes are finished with a hard shining zinc coating. This coating is rust free. Haan use steel spokes in their motorcross wheels. No stainless steel spokes because a steel spoke has more possibilities to stretch than a stainless steel spoke. When a spoke cannot stretch it can break easy with big landing impacts, for example after overjumping a table top.
